From Renewable Ethanol to Sustainable Chemicals
RenewChem reduces industry’s reliance on fossil feedstocks by using a proprietary catalytic conversion process to transform renewable ethanol into high-value industrial alcohols.
The resulting drop-in bioalcohols, including butanol, hexanol and octanol, are chemically equivalent to their fossil-based counterparts and can be integrated directly into existing industrial supply chains, providing a scalable pathway towards more sustainable chemical production.

Renewable Feedstock
RenewChem uses bioethanol from renewable sources as the feedstock, providing an alternative to fossil-based raw materials traditionally used to produce industrial chemicals.

Catalytic Conversion
Catalyxx's proprietary catalytic technology converts renewable ethanol into longer-chain bioalcohols. The technology builds on extensive R&D and previous demonstration-scale validation in Seville, Spain.

Bio-Based Alcohols
